Welcome to SupplyNZ: Winning the war against COVID-19.
In light of New Zealand’s shift to Alert Level 2 and the diminishing number of COVID-19 cases in New Zealand, we have decided to press pause on our project SupplyNZ: Winning the war against COVID-19. The McGuinness Institute team continues to focus its efforts into education and awareness on the long term impact of COVID-19 on our National Reserve Supplies and readiness for pandemic cycles.
We still welcome makers, purchasers and suppliers of healthcare products as well as organisations or individuals with production capabilities (e.g. raw materials, bulk fabric or 3-D printing) and/or time to fill out the registration form to be placed on the SupplyNZ Register. We will be checking and updating this website on a weekly basis from now.
We are also working on a stocktake, as well as modelling supply chain requirements to identify possible gaps. This work will be published on this website.
If you have any queries about the initiative please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Survey Insights: An Analysis of the NZNO PPE Survey was a collaboration between the New Zealand Nurse Organisation (NZNO) and the McGuinness Institute using the Sticky Beak platform. The survey aimed to highlight the experiences of healthcare workers (nurses, midwives, kaimahi hauora, healthcare workers and students) and to understand the provision and allocation of PPE to healthcare providers across Aotearoa New Zealand. Survey Insights provides a summary of the results. Along with the eight key findings, we make 13 recommendations for future PPE supply for frontline health care workers Thank you again to the 589 healthcare workers who responded to the survey.
